I've used them all. From AirTable to ClickUp. From Asana to Trello. I liked them all for two weeks, and so I got lost in the formulas. I desperately just wanted something that looked like a to-do listing. I'thou fairly tech-savvy. I'thou used to Excel spreadsheets, and I bask automation. But when it comes to projection direction, I found that I was spending more than fourth dimension sorting out my Trello boards (or any other lath) to be presentable, set up automations, and generally maintain information technology, than actually getting piece of work done. I'm a copywriter, and my business organization revolves around creating copy for clients. As such, time management is a massive part of what I do. So, I needed to find something that was simple, presented clearly, and easily edited. Then I found todoist. Information technology's brilliantly straightforward. You need to set up different 'workspaces', just it'southward literally just different lists. I use a different list for dissimilar clients. They tin can encounter only their listing, and no i else'due south. Then, click the + push to add tasks. You can add subtasks, too, which is super useful. I personally Dearest the noise it makes when you cantankerous off one of your tasks. A super pleasing 'click' like noise. You can set daily goals of the number of tasks y'all desire to complete, too, which is skilful for productivity. Overall, Todoist has a really uncomplicated design, and an fifty-fifty simpler user-experience. But that'due south why I love information technology so much.

I beloved how straightforward Todoist is to use. The design is make clean and clear, and everything nearly it is merely as simple. I was fed up with the complex formulas of other projection management software. I'chiliad a massive fan of the subtasks feature. You can create smaller tasks underneath a bigger task, which, every bit a copywriter, is very useful. I can pop in tasks like 'Competitor Research', and so identify subtasks under this that help me finalize the chore. I also love that you can set up notifications as deadlines. It's well-nigh similar an alarm that pings when yous demand to get something done. You tin can customize information technology, too, to send you reminders a certain number of days alee of time. That helps your productivity massively. Y'all tin also add on clients to your lists, and so they can monitor the progress that has been made.

There are no massive negatives to this software. There are areas they could grow. AirTable, for example, has automations that y'all can ready. So, if a task has been completed, an automatic email (which y'all can customize) is sent to the client informing them a task has been completed. If Todoist wanted to do something like that, I think information technology's important for them to remember that their appeal is simplicity, then information technology would demand to be consistent with that.

I only didn't like the complexity of the software. The design was too much, and there were then many features that it became overwhelming very quickly. I was spending more than time sorting out my project direction than actually being productive.

I love how intuitive and pretty the interface is, significant, that I am not discouraged or afraid to open the software. The nearly of import feature is definitely the natural linguistic communication processing that is extremely intuitive and sympathize what I attempt to practise.

If you lot are bilingual or write tasks in multiple languages, the software may become confused.

Simpler and has a free tier to get started.

Todoist has a card view which redeems Trello useless as it isn't very unlike.

Information technology is similar in function to Trello and Monday just each has its own quirks. I use Todoit as a bookmarking apparatus for something I really want to view, read, or compose afterwards. So it has been something of a lifeline, permitting me to polish out my work life and arrange the many brusk ventures and errands I need to do.

The application gives you heaps of ways of cutting upwardly your lineup for the day, for case, top choices, dissimilar need levels and lables, the association, diverseness coding, names/tabs, arranging, and review insight of this awarding all are solid highlights. The plan is spotless and articulate, and every little thing about it is comparably straightforward. I was tired of the complicated equations of other venture the executives programming. I love the subtasks include.

The costless form is incredible to test the help however too restricted to fifty-fifty recollect about utilizing as day to day commuter. Here and in that location I've experienced bugs while attempting to add an assignment (The "add job" button volition bafflingly be impaired), compelling me to restart.

Considering of the simplicity of the functionality with respect to other applications that I had used.

My overall feel with Todoist is great. In search of more circuitous features, I tried many other alternatives, simply in the stop I found myself always coming back here. Its ease and pleasantness of use are something I cannot exercise without.

I have tried tons of project management and task management solutions but this is by far my favorite. The interface is clear and simple to apply, ever responsive and reliable. My favorite feature? The automatic recognition of the task information from the entered text. This is literally the feature I want in every other project management platform and the one that always keeps me coming back to Todoist. The simplicity with which I tin write "Do this tomorrow at 12:00 #projectname @label" and the organisation automatically puts everything in its identify ... I can't help it.

Although Todoist's greatest strength is its ease of utilize, in the professional world sometimes you feel the need for a few more features. A more granural sharing system, multi-stride activity status management, unlike views for the action listing, gantt charts, etc.). There are many things that could be added and that many other more than complete project management platforms offer.

It's a very comprehensive app, thorough and well-idea out, the collaboration and recurring features are fabulous, but overall it's just a little likewise "extra" and its not exactly time conscious, which is ironic. I don't disklike information technology, it just has its place such as for larger, more circuitous, and multistep processes. Information technology would exist a great help for a large projection like moving to a new address or writing a novel where y'all would need subcategories and subtasks, unlike reminders, recurring events, etc. and could really embrace the full-fledged characteristic-richness of it.

The organization, color coding, labels/tabs, sorting, and viewing experience of this app all are stiff features. It's also smashing for projects, collaboration, and multistep or larger scale / longer term solutions.

The user interface is friendly and modernized, but it's not exactly intuitive. Information technology just takes too long to set up for day-to-day uses like a grocery list or a "don't' forget to pack" list and the screen grabs that the app features look groovy merely its a long process to ready it all upwards to go a turnout like theirs.

I beloved every feature of the product! I'll never utilize anything else and the annual premium subscription is well worth information technology!

Literally everything. I've tried every to practise list app nether the sun and there's none better than Todoist. I love how information technology understands logic to enter due dates, projects, etc. The app is amazing. The Kudos feature is astonishing. And the report that you go at the end of every year showing all y'all did during the whole yr is pretty cool as well!

Information technology can take a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but that'southward just because information technology's more than sophisticated than other similar apps. But one time you do become the hang of information technology, in that location'due south no way you'll go anywhere else!

Features, design, logic in creating tasks, app - it'due south all just better!

Got tired of the lack of customization and nested folders.

On the whole I take found Todoist to exist an fantabulous aid. Information technology allows me to cheque in and run into what'south on my schedule when I'm away from all of my other devices and information technology's helped me to go on track of all of my tasks and events.

I really like Todoist because the interface is elementary, all the same powerful. Once you lot get used to it, there are then many things yous tin do with it. For example, I employ a lot of filters to view only the tasks that are relevant to me at any given moment. For instance, I have a "Today" filter that shows all my tasks for today, and I take a "Starred" filter that shows all my tasks that I am currently excited most and don't desire to lose runway of. I love having the big movie of all my goals while withal being able to focus on one individual task at time.

Todoist is one of the most popular to-do list apps, but in that location are a couple of things that Todoist could exercise amend. Start, Todoist doesn't have proper "subtasks" like Wunderlist does. You can nest tasks inside projects in Todoist, just they don't scroll up into the parent chore—it'southward merely a way to visually organize your tasks. If you want subtasks in Todoist, yous accept to create regular tasks and add them as dependencies to the main chore, and then you see them in your Today view or as Overdue. Second, Todoist doesn't have a manner to assign due dates to subtasks—y'all can only set up a single due date for the entire project. If you assign dates to the subtasks themselves (which go hidden in the project view), they don't bear witness up in your calendar view and at that place's no way to roll them up into the parent chore.

I really liked it. Todoist works exceptionally well, smoothen similar butter and does not get in the style of organizing your life. The minimalist design language was one of the first of its kind back when they first started out as an online-merely service. In the meantime they have introduced native apps for all major platforms. Wait this to but work, and work well. Tags are an especially useful future as are priorities. This helps you run into with a glance (or using a filtering role) what is relevant or important. Todoist is smashing if you want to adhere to the GTD philosophy or if you want to create your ain customized organisation to manage your tasks. I have not used the collaborative office only would await it to work well too.

Todoist has keyboard shortcuts downwards. That makes it easy and fast to navigate one time you are familiar with information technology. Quick entry is easy and fast. The app gives you lots of ways to slice and die your todo listing, such as favorites, different priority levels and lables. Different views, such as a Kanban type of board tin can help organize and manage your task listing. One thing that makes Todoist specially easy to use is that you can add tasks by e-mail, yous can add attachements (the word doc you need to read is correct in that location).

I am non a fan of subscription services. The gratuitous version is great to exam the service but too limited to employ every bit daily driver. If you are ok with paying a monthly fee, then the 4$/month (three$ if you pay for the whole twelvemonth upfront) is a reasonable ask. This and the sheer number of functions steered me towards an alternative as I was looking for something simpler. In my experience, more than features just meant more distractions from really checking off items on my task listing.

In the end I chose an culling to Todoist, equally I am no fan of subscription services and rather pay once for a product, knowing I tin can utilise it as long as it still works with the Bone I am using. Only had information technology not been for that Todoist would accept crush Things by Cultured Code. The reason being that there are some more functionalities and the ease of utilize with keyboard on a figurer is the best I know of.

I need a unproblematic software that i can relied on to managing my days, and Todoist is the all-time option for that objective. Information technology can be connected or integrated with Google Assistant which will remind me of my event on my calendar with it voice.

The best thing that i really like is it can exist access from various device and no demand to install the software into the device. I use information technology as my organizer to schedule, remind and organized all my daily task and to-do list, either for my work task or for my personal task. It is not packed with feature like other project management software, but notwithstanding can go the work washed.

It lacked of feature that i need and sometimes it is quite frustrating and i have to using other software to go information technology done. Other than that, It is very helpful in reminding and scheduling my day and not too expensive to subscribing its premium program.

Todoist has virtually every feature that i need and very flexible that i can access it from anywhere.

I use Todoist for most anything in my life. From managing complex project to editing watching, reading shopping listing, to scheduling my workout plan to tracking my monthly progress and and then on. I also use this software as a bookmark tool for something I need to scout, read or write later. It is like part of my life.

* It provides almost anything you expect from a productivity app. * Not only does it help you to create or manage your job but information technology also motivate you with its feature of karma level. * The feature of 2 mode sync with Google Agenda is great. I can easily schedule my chore and plan my mean solar day in a calendar, without even accept to open Todoist. Being able to create new sub-calendar in your calendar for each projection in Todoist, is even meliorate. * Y'all can create sub-tasks in sub-task in a subs-task and so on. Moreover, for each sub-task, you can add due engagement, notes. And this characteristic is really precious while you lot working on complex project. * Sorting and group features make task management more than effective. * There are shortcuts for almost all stuff. Only typing with keyboard, you lot tin can add task, fix the due date and priority level and motility it to any project. That makes editing projects even faster. * There are lath and list view options. It is really helpful while dealing with different types of projects. * In that location are well-organized templates to create a project faster. * You tin can create and so many project and hands edit, sort, or group them. * Scheduling options are more plenty. It is so powerful editing recurring tasks. * Maybe some of the features require payment but I can't complain virtually information technology because it is non then expensive and it is effective enough without it premium feature.

* Although its 2-fashion sync with Calendars is actually powerful, information technology would better if in that location was a calendar view selection. * Sometimes, there may be a sync problems with Calendar apps. * I used to monitor multi-project in one screen. Only I cannot do it anymore, after the new updates. * There could be habit tracker pick for recurring tasks .

2 style sync with google calendar. Sub-task direction features is much more powerful than the others.

I take been using Todoist for a few years now.it makes my fourth dimension management easier and more open to possible changes.I also greatly appreciated my last yr's statistics of use, which arrived at the outset of this year.

Assart to programme far into the hereafter is surely a peachy reward of this software. Just every bit possibility of prioritization is, with possibilities to diferentiate with colours. A bang-up advantage of this software is tha I can apply it all over my devices, my telephone, macook, iwatch and ipad. That is also why i decided to try it out, as there are merely few fourth dimension-management softwares available on apple spotter. Some other dandy matter is that it allowed me to play freely even without paid subscription. I appreciated this a lot during my studenťs period of life. I utilise Todoist every day.it is helpful for both my personal and piece of work life.

Its unchangable colorful scheme. The red is somehow agressive, combined with contrastive white. Would surely appreciate to be able to alter colours:) Even though it is dandy to plan some tasks in Todoist, I am unable to track my project evolution.I would surely appreciate a update Which would let me to maybe create an individual calendar, in which I would plan on my doing of the project separately from other tasks. It is tiring to be using another software for this, when could there exist only one. Another detail which I noticed at the beginning is a little chip unfriendly interface of Todoist. that is why I would not recommend Todoist to my older colleagues.there are many hidden functions, which I keep on discovering, which I would like to had known before, so that they could take been put to good use.

Google calendar didnt allow me to create such a cohesive and easy-to-go-over-again schedule. Everything was chaotic. In todoist, it isn ´ t every bit chaotic.

Overall, Todoist has been a life-saver, allowing me to simplify my piece of work life and organize the numerous projects & tasks I have to juggle. While information technology can exist complicated at times and lacks sure features I would honey to come across, information technology is the best project management app I've ever used, and I would sorely miss it if Todoist were to exist shut down.

Todoist has simplified my work life - helping to organize all my tasks, projects, and meetings in a simple way that ensures no projection is missed. While there is a flake of a learning curve to figure out how to best utilize & organize the platform, the simplicity of information technology's core features makes it easy for anyone to pick upward and use. You are able to hop on their website or app and add together a task in an instant; with the ability to schedule the due engagement, priority, and set it up in a specific projection very quickly using their shortcuts. With their team collaboration features, you are too able to assign specific tasks to specific people, assuasive for quick and ease collaboration and project direction. Plus, Todoist offers numerous templates that help facilitate setup, and a very simple "Karma" rewards system that helps encourage use (and helps make you feel accomplished).

Todoist offers numerous systems, but unfortunately it can be a flake of a learning bend to acquire all the shortcuts (especially when they modify periodically) and an effective way to organize the projects & tags. As well, while they offer simple means to import their templates and allow you to export templates of your own, they don't offer a uncomplicated deject storage solution for those templates - so to load an exported template, you demand to download it, go on information technology, and reupload information technology when needed. Lastly, they lack the ability to setup certain types of tasks; such equally a task with subtasks that all repeat weekly - currently you can schedule them all to happen each calendar week, but the subtasks end up getting listed as full tasks on the due date.

Todoists simplicity & features fix it apart above the remainder

It helped me to salve a lot of time and stay focused on what's of import considering now I know what I have to do daily and everything is saved in the app. I tried a lot of To-Do List apps and after trying Todoist I tin can say I finally found what I'm looking for and I'm really happy with it and I will recommend it to anyone who needs a To-Do List app.

I love it because It's Free and easy to apply and I like the clean user interface because It'southward user friendly and everyone tin go used to information technology in a few minutes also, I similar the dark theme selection. I like the Productivity tracking feature because now I tin can meet all the completed tasks and I tin can set daily and weekly goals. The clean UI is astonishing and without any complicated stuff, you can add projects, labels, and filters with only a few clicks. The mobile app for me is the best because it has all the features and it'southward very easy and with a clean and simple user interface. I can sort my Tasks by priority, project, proper noun or by date, or even past the assignee. I like the Inbox considering I can write my ideas or any general tasks and things I need to do and things I don't need to create a project for them. Today and Upcoming department are not bad because I see just what I need to do for example today and I really don't need to worry most tomorrow's tasks...etc.and this gives me the motivation I demand to start working and finishing my daily tasks. I like the cards and how like shooting fish in a barrel I can move them between the sections and also, I like the sub-tasks selection because it helped me to stay organized. I like the Emails I get and this is a cool way to remind me if I missed a job or something. I can schedule whatsoever chore using their calendar choice and I can accept like ane week or one month calendar. There is a lot of helpful YouTube videos about this tool and I learned a lot from them.

They tin can add a note-taking pick for united states of america considering sometimes nosotros demand to take quick notes. They can add together a built-in Emoji feature to add together some fun and cool stuff to our Lists and Projects. They tin add more helpful features for us in the near hereafter.

I really like the interace and ease of use, it's one of my favorite apps in terms of the UI. It's a really quick setup, the fonts are clean and like shooting fish in a barrel to read, the tags and projects are colored nicely, information technology just wasn't the app that helped me actually get things done.

While I was using this software, I really liked the sleek and modern interface to add new tasks. It was quick, easy, and the UI was awesome. I wish all chore direction apps had an UI like Todoist. The tagging feature was also super quick to add, which saves me time adding tasks. The feature to reschedule tasks I didn't exercise based on the load for my week was good, not as adept as Skedpal (which is why I switched) merely improve than I've seen in other job managemetn apps I've tried and used. I likewise really liked the minimalism of the screen, I never felt that it was too clunky or too many options existence displayed at one time and overwhelming me.

The reason I switched is because I had so many tasks added in I became overwhelmed. This isn't necessarily the apps fault, I should add time in my agenda to do a weekly review, etc... only it just wasn't happening. I switched to SkedPal because information technology schedules the tasks for me on my calendar, ensuring I go them done. With ToDoist, if something didn't get done, I would take an overdue chore, and then need to schedule it into my calendar myself and spend time figuring out what time slot, etc..., and then go dorsum to Todoist if the fourth dimension didn't piece of work out, etc... it wasn't flexible plenty to auto schedule and place it on my agenda with the option to roll over to the side by side day if not completed. (At least at the time that I used it). If it'south not on my agenda, it doesn't get done considering other things will fill my agenda and so I'1000 out of fourth dimension and my Todoist tasks are non completed.

The interface for RTM was clunky and a bit outdated, as well many options, likewise cluttered of a screen. I wanted something cleaner and faster to use.

I have become a ToDoist advocate and highly promote ToDoist to anybody I work with. My clients have now started to share projects with me and 1:1 collaboration is in identify with every bit many team members that I need to piece of work with.

ToDoist has been amazing! It's so elementary to create shared projects and collaborate in tasks. Start past getting your team together to offload all the ataxia from their minds and organise this into manageable workflows. ToDoist has been peachy in reducing e-mail, antipodal more than in person and use the comment feature to communicate on each individual task.

I can't find any faults with it in all the years I've been using it. It's amazing!

ToDoist was more scaleable when working with larger teams. The overall cost per user per year made it affordable and in many cases lots of collaborators manage perfectly well with the complimentary model whilst sharing projects with my paid subscription.

Wunderlist back in the mean solar day just wasn't anywhere near the features that ToDoist had. The time to come of Wunderlist was ever pretty shaky and I'thou so glad I chose ToDoist. The latest news that Wunderlist is moving to Microsoft ToDo in May 2020 has also reinforced in my opinion that ToDoist is past far the all-time at what it does.

Todoist has been a game-changer for united states of america. Its ease of utilize and interactive feedback helps us stay focused and attain goals. They continue to work to amend it and a contempo update has made using the app even easier. We are never without it when on-site or in the workroom.

Nosotros are theatre costumers who costume 12-fourteen shows a year. We utilise Todoist to continue runway of all actors and their various costumes needed and the tasks required to consummate those costumes. We dearest how easy it is to add together new tasks to an existing one and how flexible each task can be. We can add together a due date, assign a squad member, and use labels to let us know what needs to be washed or where information technology needs to exist retrieved or bought from. It celebrates your productivity and emails you if a chore is overdue too as a report of how you did for the week. We can ever tell if we did not use Todoist as faithfully as we should have during a project and in meetings the response to "How do we stay on task and organized?" is always "Remember to update and use Todoist!"

There is a 300 task limit to every project and we can easily hit that when we are first starting out and getting everything laid out for a show. It would also be dainty to add an unabridged team to a projection instead of individuals one at a time.

Basecamp was too expensive for our small operation. Todoist, while not having all of the features we loved about Basecamp, was notwithstanding easy to use, organize, and its price range was within our budget.

Producteev's setup was a bit clunky. We didn't dislike it, simply it was not incredibly intuitive to use when information technology came to our needs and then we decided to store around and meet if there was something we liked better.

It's superb for ever being set to get. I really love the Android widget that ever sits on my home screen correct next to my calendar and atmospheric condition. Information technology shows my task list for the day and I have no excuse for not knowing what needs doing.

I have used Todoist for well-nigh 3 years now and it'south the ane to-practice product that I seem to exist able to stick with. I went through a diverseness of to-do-list managers earlier this, but somehow considering of the wide range of platforms that it supports, including a browser extension, a native Windows app, mobile apps, and a native Mac app, Todoist meets my needs actually well. So I guess the characteristic I like the virtually is information technology's ubiquity and speed--it'due south ever close at hand. It can even be the default to-do manager on an Alexa device, which is really nice because you don't have to say "open up Todoist" or something like that.

The complimentary version is actually express. I had the paid version for quite a while then switched back, but miss a few of the paid features. Even simple things like seeing completed to-dos aren't available unless you pay, and then consider the complimentary tier to be VERY limited.

I switched to Todoist when MS bought Wunderlist and threatened to discontinue information technology. I haven't looked dorsum--Todoist has been neat.

I employ ToDoist to keep runway of tasks sent to me by clients. I don't use it for project management, extensive notes, or workflow so much as a simple to-do list of projects that need to be completed. Sometimes you lot don't demand to write a lot of details - you just need to be sure you do the job and todoist is the best software I have plant for that. Dearest information technology!

I love how it'southward a no frills to-do listing I can admission on my computer and phone. I love being able to ready up dissimilar projects, due dates, and sub tasks. Information technology also helps me with my EOM invoicing so I know what I did for each client.

I wish I could get more than features for gratis. The comment feature and ability to set reminders look groovy. Although, Todoist does send me an email every mean solar day letting me know what'due south on my listing, so that is very helpful even without reminders.

Todoist was straightforward and non-distracting. It did exactly what I needed without me getting pulled into a rabbit hole of writing notes or projection direction when none was needed.

Asana is a keen tool for projects with deeper complexity, but in that location was too much to fill out and add when I only wanted to manage my tasks. Todoist is exactly what I was looking for.

Overall, I wouldn't change annihilation virtually the layout of Todoist. I could non stay organized or stop a proficient portion of my job without Todoist. It's relatively simplistic, but I love that about information technology, and I appreciate the intuitiveness of the tool in general.

Todoist is very easy to use. I similar that I tin can create a task and add as many notes to it as I demand. When I don't accept the time or encephalon power to stop a project at the stop of the day, I create a chore in Todoist so I can pick upwardly where I left off the next day. It's easy to motion the due date on any chore if annihilation changes. The virtually significant manner I use Todoist is to fill in the gaps on any piece of work processes that are non fully automated. I fix tasks out in the hereafter all the time to brand sure the final step is compete. Without Todoist I would be at a loss!

The only thing I don't like about Todoist is it doesn't e'er log my completed tasks immediately. When I mark a task as completed, it should disappear from my listing right away, merely sometimes it doesn't update until I have refreshed the page. I'm guessing this is an upshot that will be solved by the Todoist squad presently.

It was a visitor decision. I believe it had to practise with getting a better price.
